Featured Actor of the Week

Terry Crews!

Seen in several films, most notably: White Chicks, The Longest Yard. Crews also features in TV sitcoms such as Everybody Hates Chris and My Wife and Kids. I bet you're all wondering how I managed to start thinking about Terry Crews while studying economic history. Well to be perfectly honest, economic history is not the most engaging of topics and therefore I decided to assist my learning via youtube.

One of the promoted videos was Vanessa Carlton's new single. I decided to click on it and after 10 or so seconds I pressed the back button. I decided to search her most known song " A thousand Miles" as it was a pretty catchy song. After 45 seconds or so I started to lose interest and saw related videos on the side. It reminded me of Crew's famous scene in white chicks where he casually dances and sings along to this song. I believe that scene is one of the greatest scenes in movie history. This led to my unhealthy obsession of Crews, Below is a few scenes of him.

The first one is of the mentioned vanessa carlton scene while the next is a scene in My Wife and Kids. (For those who haven't seen White Chicks) The first scene involves one of the Wayan brothers disguised as a girl. Crews's managed to get him/her on a date by winning one of those auctions. Wayans is grossed out by this and does all he can do try and put off Crew's lust towards him. His first attempt is to deter him away with his supposed taste of music (white music) hence Vanessa Carlton. Watch the video to see what happens next.

The second scene is from "My Wife and Kids". To get you into context, Damon Wayans is self conscious about his body weight as he wasn't able to fit into his previous pair of jeans, This led to persisting payouts from his family especially from his wife. He decided to call an old friend who happened to be a gym ownder (Crews). This scene is the gym scene where Crews shows Wayans his hilarious workout routine. The highlight of the episode is where crews insists to use his pecks to do the talking "indeed". Enjoy everyone..

There are several other scenes which are worthy of mention however I feel compelled to at least look at my economic history notes. Peace out everyone
