Recently just came back from my sisters 3rd and final reception. I got to see a lot of people I hadn't seen in a while including extended family in HK. Our table, the Brisbane table was the most lively thanks to a 5 year old kid trapped in a 50 year old man's body named Dominic. Seriously the life of every party, his aura brings about a very positive and happy atmosphere. Ping will be posting up a video of him soon enough.
Back to my story, I got to catch up with a few people (mainly old people who watched me grow up) most of them doing well but others not doing so well. It was also really exciting to meet my little cousin who unfortunately lives in a single parent household (I think). But yeh she is a beautiful kid who's half Japanese. I guess the regret is not getting the opportunity to talk to her and chances are, I won't see her for another 10 years or so. I feel that big sense of regret because she is one of the very few blood cousins I have in HK. I didn't even get to have the opportunity to get a photo with her, she left quite suddenly with her mother.But she is smart and I know big things are coming for her.
Overall it has been a good trip in HK, I've spent a lot and have had a few solid purchases I'm very proud of. But I also feel bad at the same time because I splurge so much on myself it just doesn't really feel right... I will update my blog when I get to Taiwan and show you the purchases soon enough!
