Spiting the stingy!

During the first few years of Uni, Frank and I used to travel in together a lot and would often car pool to get into uni. It is unspoken etiquette or courtesy to pass your "All day" parking ticket when you are leaving to someone who is entering to save them a $3 fee. Approximately... 20% of the time someone would be nice enough to offer their tickets to us and we would often do the same in return.

Frank the philosopher once again came up with a scenario:

If someone offered you a ticket for $2.5, would you rather buy it off him or pay the full price to spite him. I answered that I would rather pay $3 just to spite him.

He agreed and we both laughed. Soon after we came up with a story about our accounting lecturer who likes to spite people during consultations.

As we drove into the duck pond car park, we saw our lecturer just about to exit. We rolled down our window and kindly asked if he would be able to pass on his ticket. With excitement in his eyes, he grabbed his ticket and stretched out his arm towards us. As I was just about to grab it he quickly snaps his arm back and scrunches the ticket. With a swift motion he starts chewing on it and spits the ticket towards us. Just as we were about to grab the ticket, he gets out of his car and puts the ticket back into his mouth again and swallows it. After, he speeds off angrily.

This is why we don't like Introduction to Accounting
