Sore throats..
Worst type of pain possible. Seriously I'd rather be shot in the leg than to suffer through a sore throat. The pain is immense and doesn't seem to leave. It haunts you while you are asleep while your mouth continues to get dehydrated. You wake up with a piercing pain that extends all the way down through your neck. The feeling of dry sandpaper rubbing against your oesophagus as you habitually swallow from time to time. The sensation is a burning one and seems stubborn enough not to leave. There is no quick fix to the solution and all you can do is hope and wait. Any home remedies you can reccomend to fix this ongoing dilemma?

I had that last week...fixed it up with nearly sleeping the whole day through - got over it in a day; and then came the runny nose.
If you can't afford that sleep time, then plenty of hot water with melted honey in it, + drops of lemon juice should do it. Vitamin C is the key.
And if all else fails, go down to your nearest Chinese herbal medicine guy and get yourself a nice bottle of tiger testicles.
